I have been playing the flute since 21 years and absolutely love it!

Originally from Germany, I was principal flute in one of Germany’s top youth wind bands (Junge Bläserphilharmonie Ulm). I was also member of a flute quartet participating in county competitions (Jugend Musiziert).

When I came to the UK in 2011, I was awarded a music scholarship at the University of Leicester whilst on my engineering course, which meant I was able to study with June Scott (Philharmonia Orchestra) and Dana Morgan (Flute tutor at Nottingham and Sheffield University).

I performed the Mozart and Chaminade flute concertos as a soloist with the Leicester university orchestra and was awarded the ATCL and LTCL diplomas from the Trinity College London.

I continue to study with both Dana and June as well as various international tutors (Wissam Boustany, Roderick Seed, Geoff Warren). Since 2 years, I have taken up Jazz on the flute. Very recently, I won the BFS competion in the Adult amateur category.

I enjoy performing at local recitals and events.

When I am not playing the flute, I am currently leading the venture development team at a London based PropTech scaleup.
